New Things..

So today several things have happened that I didn't expect for this drab Thursday. First, I didn't sleep through the first few periods of school. Which for me and my insomnia lately is a feat within itself. Second, I found a band that I am in love in now. It's the band Lydia. Particulurly the song "Stay Awake" off of their album "Illuminate". "So stay awake and I'll stay/ I try and go, but your game/ It waits for me and you, love/ So cover up for the rain/ you see in way too much safety/ cause I don't stand a chance/ any longer than you do my friend/ cause we sure know best/ now that you're gone.". I'm not 100% sure why, but I am just loving their sound. I wish I had found them sooner! But anyway, the third thing that surprised me today was that I went Tux shopping for my date to prom. I had never been to a tux shop before haha. But there is a first for everything! Anyway, it was a fun experience, and I am now almost ready for prom. People can surprise you. I wish I could surprise myself and get over some things that are still holding me back from everything I could be. But that's what music is for for me. (: I'm sure i'll be posting more later tonight, so for now I'll just say until later instead of goodbye.
