Overplayed...

So, today many songs get way too overplayed on the radio. They may have been your favorite song even before it started getting popular, but then all of sudden it gets played on the radio over and over and you cannot stand to listen to it. Well, for me, that overplayed song that i used to love is Somebody That I Used To Know by Goyte. And I still like it, but it gets annoying now that EVERYONE knows it. The chorus of it is what i love about it. Its honest, and point blank. It's the kind of thing that i dream about getting to say to someone but i know i never will. "But you didn't have to cut me off. Make out like it never happened and that we were nothing. And I don't even need your love, But you treat me like a stranger and that feels so rough. No you didn't have to stoop so low. Have your friends collect your records and then change your number, I guess that I don't need that though, Now you're just somebody that I used to know"
The sad thing is that i know that even though there is still someone that i would like to say that to, i know that i wouldnt. I feel like im much too timid to be that blunt. I mean, for those who know me, I often say things that i probably shouldnt just because i dont have a filter. But when it gets down to it, i'm not quite sure that i would be able to say what i really mean. Words don't come easily to me. But it is on my bucket list to just say exactly what i mean for an entire day. No holding back, no filtering. Just my true feelings. You'll hear back from me later for a good music update! Until we meet again... -A
